Angelo & Austins Saint Francis De Sales Engagement Session!

I met up with Angelo and Austin just before sunset at Saint Francis De Sales. The location is incredible, with its long tree-lined driveway, and that is really all we needed for our time together!

Before Covid times, I used to meet up in person with couples for a little planning session before their wedding. If, for some reason, that couple had not opted for an engagement session, I would offer to bring my camera along so we could play around for a few minutes. Eventually, these became the mini-engagement sessions I offer for couples who don’t have a full engagement session. Even if it is only for 5-10 minutes, it helps to have pointed my camera at couples before their wedding day. For me, it gives me a better idea of what works for them - and for them, I think it gets that initial panic of a camera pointed at you over with. To be clear, a full engagement session offers both things but much greater depth.

All that to say, Angelo, Anthony, and I only had about 15 minutes to play around for this session, but it really turned out great! They are both wonderful people, and their love and admiration of each other is easy to see. We lucked out with a beautiful sunset, and the golden light glowed around us as Anthony and Austin danced, embraced, and walked for their session. It would have been even better if it had been longer!
