Sarah & Carl’s Milwaukee rooftop wedding at Vista MKE featured the most vibrant rainbow I have experienced while photographing a wedding. I am getting ahead of myself because WOW!!! Sarah & Carl wanted their wedding to be fun, happy, and full of love - it was all of that and more! With the help of their closest family and friends, their Milwaukee skyline wedding was an epic event punctuated by rainbows and the charming Milwaukee skyline.

Sarah’s day began at the exquisite Saint Kate - The Art Hotel. If you have never been, it's a Milwaukee treasure that's well worth your time. It's the perfect spot to get ready, hang out with the best ladies, and even jump on the bed a little. There were so many fun places to hang the dress that it was hard to choose which ones to focus on.

From St. Kate's, we journeyed to the river for a tear-filled reveal with Sarah’s father, before heading to Pere Marquette Park for more pictures with the Bridal party. Meanwhile, across town at Aloft, Carl’s attendants were also getting ready. After checking out the riverwalk, toasting some champagne, and taking care of a few finishing touches at VistaMKE, they still had time to grab a drink at Camp Bar below the Vista.

Then it was time for the celebration: - the rooftop ceremony at Vista MKE, a quick tour of MKE’s lakefront with the full wedding party, and then dancing the night away back at Vista! And then, right when we were about to settle in for feasting and speeches, the rainbow showed up, and everything became golden and magical. It truly was a breathtaking moment - and it set the tone for a magical night to follow. VistaMKE is perfectly positioned to take in the incredible MKE skyline at night!

Carl and Sarah are hilarious and fun, a true joy to be around - I wish them all the love and joy for years to come! #excon
