Sneak Peek: Xander + Robyn's Milwaukee War Memorial Wedding was truly fantastic. They wanted their day to be romantic, fun, and easy-going - and with the help of their closest family and friends, it was perfect.

I had so much fun with this wedding! First off - Robyn’s dress was infinitely twirlable - a trait I love for photos. Also - there were so many real feels through this day: Robyns first look with her son and her reveal with her father; Her first look with Xander, where they shared personal letters and tears; Some amazing moments dancing in the rain; an explosive champagne toast; and lots of beautiful moments with family and friends. It was full of Love, Laughter, and Moments that Matter - and I am here for all of that!

One of my favorite parts of the night was sneaking out to catch a very quick golden hour session with the couple. I thought we had lost the sun behind the clouds for good - and then it was back just long enough to rush out and capture like 3-minutes of photos before the sun disappeared again for good. It was totally worth it and led to a first for me. When we were walking back, Xander mentioned that his feet hurt - so I offered him the pair of Vintage-styled New Balance 515s that were waiting in the car in case I needed them. It is always an honor to do whatever it takes to help couples have the best day of their lives - and it was super fun to see my shoes dancing the night away like they were kingly attire.

One final note - some of my favorite couples find me through a very particular kind of “word of mouth” networking - Namely - they work as nurses alongside my talented and lovely wife Emily. Whenever it happens - as it did with Robyn and Xander - it is amazing because her co-workers are always these vibrant and amazing humans!

Xander and Robyn are fabulous and fun - I wish them all the love and joy for years to come!
