Vanessa and Alex found me through my good friend Heather Farr - who happens to be a wedding planner! They wanted fun, joyous, and memorable when planning their wedding - a perfect fit for a Turner Hall Ballroom wedding. Turner Hall is a Milwaukee Classic. From, its cream city brick exterior to its huge historic ballroom, Turner is a perfect blend of class and texture and a fantastic place to get married.

Vanessa and Alex utilized the ballroom for both the ceremony and the reception - using the balcony for their cocktail hour to flip the room. Their friend Kristina officiated the wedding for them - a trend I LOVE! More and more couples are choosing a person from their life who knows them well - aunts, moms, dads, uncles, and even people in their wedding party - to officiate their wedding, and it makes the ceremonies both unique and personal!

After their ceremony - we snuck up on the roof to grab some quick photos as the sun set, and then it was back inside for feasting, drinking, dancing, and speeches. Pete’s Pops popsicles showed up at the reception later in the evening and were the pefect way to cool down after heating it up the dance floor!

Vanessa + Alex are fantastic humans. I wish them all the love and happiness and joy!
