Teege & Derek's Trimborn Farm Wisconsin Barn Wedding Reception!

When Teege and Derek were planning their wedding - they decided they wanted to have a very small micro-wedding at the very spot they first met, and a big, casual party for all their friends. As it turned out - they had the party first - it is the first time I have ever gone to a reception - before the wedding and it was AMAZING - the ultimate pregame experience, and while there was no tailgating per say, I think a Wisconsin Barn yard Pig roast counts!

Trimborn Farm ended up being the perfect location for their “Bougie BBQ” wedding reception. Not only is it within walking distance from their house, but its historic red barn is classic Wisconsin! Keeping with their low-key vibes, the couple put on suit and tie just for an hour in order to get some good wedding portraits. Drew from Flowers for Dreams did and fabulous job decorating one of the old farm buildings with flowers to create a portrait spot for the couple and their families too. Then the couple ditched their suits for more comfortable attire and returned for feasting and frivolity with their friends.

And then… Karen Valentine, one of Milwaukee's most known and loved Drag Queens, showed up and entertained the crowd with her witty banter and song and dance show (Karen was featured on Legends of Drag)! I LOVE it when Drag Queens crash a reception - and Karen was fantastic!
