Shelbi + Mark's Story Hill Firehouse Wedding!

Sneak Peek: Mark and Shelbi dreamed of a travel-themed wedding that was fun, energetic, and celebratory. The travel theme was appropriate because the couple has literally traveled all over the world - separate and together - as teachers, and they were leaving for their next over seas teaching stint just a few days after their wedding. Their wedding day delivered on the fun and energy and celebration too.

After their emotional first look in front of the gorgeous cream city brick firehouse, the couple jumped in a school bus (fitting for their life and wedding theme!) and headed out with the wedding party to some of my favorite Milwaukee photo spots. We had so much fun toasting in front of the Pabst sign, taking in the Milwaukee skyline, and adventuring over by Zilber Park in Milwuakee’s Brewery District.

Then it was back to the Firehouse to make some promises to each other in front of all their family and friends. Judge Mosley officiated with all his normal charm and humor (He is seriously an MKE treasure!), and then it was time to PARTY! After feasting on a delicious banquet set by Tall Guy, and some emotional toasts - it was time for the dancing. Mark and Shelbi brought their A-game to their first dance - showcasing some serious ballroom skills and class, and then everyone joined them for some incredible dancing. It was a perfect day!

Mark and Shelbi are truly inspirational people - humanitarians and teachers who are doing amazing things worldwide, and now they will do them together! I wish them many years of jet-setting love - and hope their travels together bring them much happiness and adventure!
