Shelbi + Mark dreamed of a travel-themed wedding that was fun, energetic, and full of celebration. The travel theme was a perfect fit for this couple, who have literally journeyed all over the world, both separately and together, as international educators. They were heading back overseas for their next teaching adventure just days after the wedding, making this celebration feel even more like a true send-off.

🥂**Shelby & Mark’s Engagement Session**

After an emotional first look against the stunning cream city brick facade of Story Hill Firehouse, the couple piled onto a school bus (perfectly on-theme) and headed out with the wedding party to some of my favorite Milwaukee photo spots. We toasted in front of the Pabst sign, took in the Milwaukee skyline, and explored the gorgeous Zilber Park in Milwaukee's Brewery District.

Then it was back to the Firehouse for vows in front of their closest family and friends. Judge Mosley officiated with his signature charm and humor (a true MKE treasure), and then it was time to celebrate. After a delicious banquet from Tall Guy & Grill and some heartfelt toasts, the dance floor opened. Mark and Shelbi demonstrated their serious ballroom skills before everyone joined in for an unforgettable night.

Shelbi and Mark are genuinely inspiring people, humanitarians, and teachers making a real difference around the world, now embarking on that next chapter together. As their Milwaukee wedding photographer, I feel so lucky to be chosen to document the start of this adventure. Wishing them a lifetime of jet-setting love and joy wherever the world takes them.
