Kristin & Michael's Sanger House Garden Wedding and Milwaukee Hot Spot Tour Reception

Michael and Kristin’s wedding was an epic tour of many of Milwaukee’s hot spots! The tour ran from Getting ready at the Pfister Hotel to their ceremony at Sanger House Gardens in Brewer’s hill, then on to the Schlitz brewery and Sampson Square for pictures, and then to the Milwaukee Athletic Club for skyline cocktails, and then Black Sheep for an intimate dinner before grabbing some sunset photos over by the Harley Museum before crossing back across town to party the night away at Deer Camp right in the heart of Milwaukee’s Deer District.

The Pfister Hotel:

Everyone in MKE knows that the Pfister Hotel sets the standard for Old World Milwaukee Charm. It is a fabulous hotel and a fantastic spot for brides to prepare for their wedding day. There are so many great places in the hotel to grab classy photos, and the rooms are stunning - a perfect backdrop for couples who want their getting-ready photos to look elegant. Kristin had Lauren from Raven and Blonde meet her their for hair and makeup and still had time for Mimosas, lunch and some emotional moments with family and friends. One of my favorite getting ready photos of the year is Kristin getting her hair done while working on her laptop - it captures her equally effortless beauty and prodigious productivy so well!

Sanger House Garderns:

After the Pfister Hotel, it was time for a quick first look at Sanger House Gardens. Michael was there already along with his Best Dog waiting for Kristin and company to arrive. Michael brought all the charm and class in his perfectly fit Suit Shop, suit - and their ceremony was full of feels and love. Kristin’s Brother even officiated to keep it all personal! This was my first wedding at Sanger Garden - but wow - its just incredible. It is a true Brewers hill treasure and will host many intimate events as people discover it!

Schiltz & Sampson Square:

After the ceremony, the new couple headed for Schiltz Park and Sampson Square. Michael has a family connection to Schlitz, and since his last name is Sampson, it seemed so fitting to grab some newlywed photos there. Champaign toasts are a must in 2022, a trend I hope sticks around for a few more years!

Milwaukee Athletic Club:

Every time I think that I am a Milwaukee Savant, I am quickly reminded that there are way more cool places than I know about. I had never been to the Milwaukee Athletic Club before, so I didn’t know what I was missing. Their skyline bar overlooks the city and provides some of the best city views anywhere in the city. Michael and Kristin laughed and cried with their guests as they toasted with the Champagne of Beers, Milwaukee's own Miller Highlife, and enjoyed cocktails too.

Black Sheep MKE:

Michael + Kristin’s next “tour” stop was at Black sheep. The private basement room was set up for an intimate candlelight dinner with their family. The toast, speeches, laughter, and tears all paired well with the elegant dining options and fabulous win selection. After dinner and cake, we walked across the street to grab some twilight photos by the river across from the Harley Musuem.

Dear Camp MKE:

For our final stop together, Michael and Kristin rented out the entire Deer Camp as a place to party into wee morning hours with their friends. DJ Mighty Thor brought the perfect mix to keep the party moving until it was time for it all to wrap up!

Kristin + Michael are fantastic people. They make Milwaukee a better place to be and it was such joy and honor to be their personal paparazzi for the day, and I wish them all the love and happiness, and joy in their life together!
