Angela & Nick’s Iron Horse Hotel & Chef’s Table wedding
Angela and Nick chose to host their Wisconsin spring wedding in Walker’s Point, Milwaukee’s Oldest Neighborhood and home of some of Milwaukee's coolest spots—including the Iron Horse Hotel and The Chef’s Table—both of which played a significant role in the wedding celebration!
The Iron Horse Hotel
They began their day getting ready at The Iron Horse Hotel, a true Milwaukee treasure. It perfectly blends modern industrial design with warm hospitality, featuring Cream City brick, exposed beams, fantastic Leather couches, hipster art, and bold nods to Harley-Davidson and Milwaukee’s industrial roots while maintaining an elevated, welcoming atmosphere.
The Iron Horse is an incredible spot for brides and grooms to prepare for their wedding day. With its classic-meets-modern architecture and plenty of cool stylistic touches, the beautiful and spacious rooms are filled with natural light. They offer a mix of exposed Cream City brick and vintage-industrial charm that photographs beautifully. Every corner feels intentional and authentic - for any bride or groom looking for a space that’s both stylish and unmistakably Milwaukee, The Iron Horse delivers.
Most importantly, it delivered for Angela and Nick’s first-look photos! We took full advantage of the bar, their room, and the library (I'm not sure that’s the official title, but it has cool leather couches, a fireplace, and books… so close enough) and a second-story balcony overlooking the lobby.
Bonus: There is fabulous, unique art throughout the Hotel, making the photos pop with color and texture!
After getting Ready at The Iron Horse, they walked over to The Chef’s Table.

The Chef's Table
After getting ready at The Iron Horse Hotel, Angela & Nick walked over to Chef’s Table to celebrate their marriage with an intimate gathering of family and friends. As we walked we had a great time taking photos and making memories.
The Chef’s Table is one of Milwaukee’s most intriguing wedding venues, offering a unique space and an immersive culinary experience. Personally remodeled by Chef David Magnasco and opened in 2014, the space was born from his vision to bring people closer to the art of cooking and connection. With over three decades of culinary experience, Chef David curates menus using Wisconsin’s finest seasonal ingredients, sourced from local farms and markets. At the center of it all is a dramatic 28-foot grand table that encourages conversation and community. It’s perfect for smaller celebrations like elopements and micro-weddings, where an intimate group can enjoy the cozy atmosphere as they dine. Or as Chef David says,
“We believe in turning ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences and approach everything we do with creativity, exuberance, and taste.”
One of the venue’s hidden gems is the Lower Level—a moody, eclectic space with vintage flair and the atmosphere of a 1920s speakeasy. Often used for cocktail hour or transformed into a late-night lounge, it offers many unique photo opportunities. Handmade custom light fixtures throughout the venue add warmth and artistry to every corner, elevating the aesthetic with thoughtful design.
The Chef’s Table also includes a private, tree-lined courtyard with a fire pit and plenty of green space—perfect for outdoor cocktails or just enjoying a quiet moment outside. Overall, The Chef’s Table brings warmth, character, and flexibility. It doesn’t just host events—it creates experiences people won’t forget.

🥂Angela & Nick Are Married!🥂
Angela & Nick’s Ceremony was officiated by a Milwaukee Legend - Judge Derek Mosley. I have personally witnessed dozens of Judge Mosley weddings, and they are always heartfelt, personal, and meaningful. After the ceremony, everyone took advantage of the lower level Speakeasy - and the groom even had a special drink session that included burning sugar cubes. You can’t celebrate at The Chef’s Table without a feast, and Angela & Nick’s was fantastic. I will be dreaming of my Béchamel soup and Risotto for a long time. And don’t even get me started on the dessert - a subject that captivated all the kids in attendance as they watched the creation while leaning over the counter to see.
Angela and Nick snuck outside with me for one last photo opp as we danced in the rain (mist really) - to capture their joy as the day concluded!
Their day was perfect, and I came out satiated in my stomach and soul. They are fantastic humans and I wish them all the Love, Laughter, and Moments that Matter as they take their next steps in their story together!
