Sneak Peek: Kristen + Jim's Anodyne Wedding in Walkers Point

Sneak Peek: Kristen + Jim were married on a lovely day in late may in front of a lovely audience of friends and family. Just like they dreamed, their day was romantic, warm, and FUN! Their community surrounded them with love and connection - filling the day with meaningful interaction and special moments.

Kristen’s dress billowed dramatically at their first look under the shadow of MKE’s beloved Hoan Bridge - and in front of the Red Pierhead light. Retreating from the wind, we found a calmer spot close by with blooming trees before moving closer to Anodyne Coffee Roasters to hunt for ivy walls and that famous cream city brick.

As a converted warehouse - Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. strikes a perfect balance of industrial and modern - with Its wood and brick creating a warm ambiance. It is a fantastic spot to have a wedding ceremony and a great party too. Jim and Kirsten put it to full use - with their emotional ceremony full of all the feels followed by an incredible BBQ dinner before dancing the night away with all their people… at least until their sparkler sendoff - which was amazing!

Oh yeah - also I always love it when Brides have a separate party dress for later in the night. After all, It’s your wedding day, why not rock more than one look! I love this trend whether its dancing shoes, cocktail dresses, a disco suit, or whatever additional flare a couple whats to bring during “Party Time!” Kristens Kennedy Blue dancing dress was both practical and bedazzled with sequins - so basically perfect!

Jim and Kristen are wonderful humans and I wish them love and joy for all their years! #mathsonholtzwedding
