While global circumstances allowed Rachel + Kevin to anticipate their wedding longer than originally planned, on a sunny day in May, it all finally came together perfectly. The couple imagined a day that was fun, relaxed, and full of love - and that is precisely what they experienced!

Rachel got ready at her parents’ house in Lake Country. By the time Kevin appeared with his entourage, Rachel was perfectly made up and gorgeous in her wedding day fit! The couple and their wedding entourage exuded love, connection, and joy! This was evidenced by the laughter and frivolity as we captured portraits at the house and then in downtown Delafield.

Once we finished with pictures and all the pre-gaming, we headed to the Red Circle Inn for the wedding and reception! Their ceremony was magical, with the sun streaming through the canopy of spring trees as they walked down the dappled-light aisle.

The Red Circle Inn is a perfect venue for intimate weddings. With both indoor and outdoor options for ceremonies, couples have built-in weather flexibility. The indoor space is split between a large dining area and a bar area with a large dance floor. The dining area has beautiful windows, natural light, and a warm, cozy feeling. The bar area also features lots of windows and skylights to bring in natural light. It is large and flexible, and a great place to host a party!

One of my favorite moments was their first dance. They (and many of their friends) are ballroom dancers, and they moved with elegance and grace as they swept across the dance floor like poetry.

Kevin and Rachel are lovely humans, and their beautiful wedding was the perfect launch to a busy summer wedding season!
