✨Claire + Tony’s Bayiew Engagement Session!✨

Claire and Tony’s South Shore park & terrace Beer Garden (with Cheese curds), cat loving, bar HOPPING, pinball playing bayview engagement session!

Check out their Engagement Reels: Part 1 // Part 2

Bayview is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Milwaukee. It has so many cool features, cozy bars, and awesome people—and Claire and Tony are further proof of that. Their fall engagement session was a blast.

First up, South Shore Park!

South Shore Park:

South Shore Park was in peak fall color for our session. Golden leaves covered the ground, and we started off frolicking in a carpet of yellow and orange. After playing and dancing in the leaves, we headed to the beach. (Since this shoot, they’ve updated the whole area, so it looks a little different now!)

We played on the rocks and along the shoreline before wandering the trails with vibrant fall colors as our backdrop. Claire’s emerald engagement ring was a stunner—so of course we captured a few close-ups of it. We even took a few minutes to skip rocks together!

South Shore Terrace Beer Garden:

Next up, we walked over to the South Shore Terrace beer garden for some pints of ale and cheese curds - it felt like the perfect fall pairing. We had the whole space to ourselves. I love the colorful murals here, especially framed with all those autumn hues.

Meet their Cat:

Pet owners all know that their engagement shoot isn’t complete without finding a way to include their pet! In this instance, we swung by their apartment for its impressive ivy wall, but more importantly, to connect with Claire and Tony’s fabulous cat. Their building was so beautiful, it inspired a spontaneous dance break of “the Carlton!”

Blackbird Bar:

For our last stop, we stopped in at the Blackbird Bar for more drinks and some pinball! The Blackbird is classy and comfy on the inside with eclectic decor and a collection of arcade and pinball that adds to the fun! It was the perfect spot to wrap up our shoot together, and I can’t wait to go back again! Claire and Tony grabbed drinks, played a few rounds, and we captured some of my favorite images from the session.

As you read this, Claire and Tony have already tied the knot at the Mitchell Park Domes and Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery (stay tuned for their wedding blog post!). But for now, I’m so glad I can finally share their Bay View engagement photos—full of love, laughter, and the moments that matter (beer, pinball, and, of course, their cat)!

Planning your own Bay View or Milwaukee engagement session?

I’d love to help capture your favorite spots—whether that’s South Shore Park, your favorite bar, or a cozy at-home session with your pets!
