Linda + Louie's 50th Wedding Celebration at the Rotary Building in Waukesha!

I spend a lot of time with couples who are experiencing the 1st day of their married life together. On that day, promises and speeches point to the incredible potential of the couples union, about all the joy and life and accomplishment that might come from their future years together. It was such a treat to spend a day with a Linda and Louie as they celebrated their 18, 262nd day together as a married couple!

Rather than potential and dreams, the stories were of the miles walked together, the struggles faced and overcome, and the life (their grandchildren were their attendants) born from their love. It was an epic celebration! Their original wedding party and guestbook from 50 years testified to their beginning together even as a room full of children, and grand children and great-grandchildren testified to each step they had walked together on their shared journey. It was inspiring and beautiful to see all they had been through together, what they still meant to each other, and to see a room full of love and laughter born from their 50 years of steadfast love!

I hope I get to hang out with Linda and Louie again on their 60th!
