Matt and Taina’s wedding was my first opportunity to shoot at Abloom Farm - but I hope I get to shoot there many more times! Abloom’s website promises a lot:

What’s crazy is that Abloom delivers everything in its marketing statement - the gorgeous, mature trees transport you to the deep woods (while remaining conveniently close to civilization). The farm and barn feel authentically Wisconsin rustic while also being clean and modern - It seems weird to describe a farm as plush and luxurious - but that is the magic of Abloom.

When it was time for the ceremony in their sunny forest grove, the joy was evident everywhere. Taina beamed at Matt, and Matt couldn’t take his eyes off Taina - there were so many laughs and feels - it was wonderful and fun… and then it was time to party.

And if all that doesn’t sound magical enough - Matt and Taina hired Events to a T to saturate the reception in 80’s Disco-Ball vibes. Maybe an 80's Disco-ball / Barn Wedding sounds impossible to you - but I promise Events to a T delivered. I could talk about the seamless flow of the day or the way Haley (from Events to a T) kept everything and everyone on script - but actually - I just want to talk about the giant Disco Ball Installation that hung right in the middle of the barn. Previously, I didn’t know that Disco-Ball Barn wedding was on my bucket list, but sometimes dreams you didn’t even know you had come true.

This brings us to one of my favorite parts of the day - the wardrobe change! Wardrobe changes are a wedding trend that I love! The wedding wardrobe change is like that transcendent moment in a song where the key change hits or the base drops! Taina’s original wedding dress was beautiful, and I was a little sad to see it go - until she emerged in her dancing dress as a living disco ball - the light off of the dress was hypnotic, especially during golden hour and when the dancing started! Matt was so dapper in his white tux that he only needed to change into his shoes to chucks to refresh his fit.

Taina & Matt are fabulous and super fun humans who surround themselves with other fantastic humans - I wish them all the love, laughter, and magic in their lives together!
