Dominique & Clinton's Seven Bridges Engagement Session!

I met up with Dominique and Clinton at the Seven Bridges Hiking trail. I love everything this trial provides - wooded scenery, bridges, and easy access to Lake Michigan and the shoreline. It was a great spot to hike and play - and the results are super fun!

Check out their Engagement Reel

Dominique and Clinton are wonderful people. They laugh a lot and clearly enjoy each other. One of the really great aspects of engagement sessions is that they offer a casual environment to get used to posing together as couples. A few lucky couples are naturals, but 90% of couples I meet up with start by saying, “We are awkward and not photogenic.” It’s always great to work the process with couples and see how much fun it can be - especially without the pressure of a wedding day timeline to keep up with. Turns out, a lot of people are lying about not being photogenic - they always look fantastic once they relax and have fun. The added bonus is how much this “practice” helps on the actual wedding day!

It was a great time - and we were lucky to get a little, magical pop of sunlight just as the sun was setting behind the trees. Dominique and Clinton are wonderful people - and their Anodyne Coffee wedding in Walkers Point was even better than their engagement session. (Stay Tuned - their wedding is coming later today!)
