Rebeca + Tyler's Historic Courthouse 1893 Wedding!

Rebeca + Tyler’s Historic Courthouse 1893 wedding was an intimate and joyful affair full of heartfelt tears and deep laughter. They chose the magnificent Historic Waukesha Courthouse to host their celebration - with all its classy and elegant style, ample space, and grand scale. It was the perfect warm place for the guests on a cold fall day.

Their summer
*Engagement Session*

They each started off with their people - Tyler playing pool downstairs with the guys, while Rebeca perfected her look upstairs in the luminescent bridal suite with her mom and best ladies. Rebeca ordered some custom handkerchiefs embroidered with messages for her mom, dad, and Tyler - and she found a special moment with each to present each with their token. Tyler’s was delivered during the couple’s first look in an elegant courthouse room with golden light leaking in through the windows. Tyler and Rebeca chose to incorporate private vows as part of their first look - a trend I LOVE because it allows the couple to be fully present in the moment of their promises - before the chaos of all wedding days surrounds them with lovely distractions.

Then it was time to head out for some photos with their entourage. It was a beautiful, cold fall day and the sun’s setting light lit up the scene with golden rays. After we took some photos outside and inside - it was off to the wedding ceremony and then to the party!

The couple took a moment to privately see their reception space before inviting their guests to join them. The cake-cutting, speeches, feasting, and dancing all followed after. One of my favorite moments was a quick night session with the couple after everything was over. Rebeca and Tyler looked epic before their majestic venue - a fitting exclamation point to their epic day!

I have enjoyed every second I spent with Rebeca + Tyler - they are fabulous people, and I wish them all the love and laughter in their future together!
