Devin and Rachel chose St. James 1868 for their wedding, utilizing both the Abbey and the Hyde to host their fabulous wedding celebration. Sitting right in the heart of Milwaukee, the Abbey features exquisitely restored stained glass and stone pillars, truly unique and wonderful groom and bridal suites, and a stunning courtyard. The Hyde adds an open, romantic, and modern space, with a fabulous deck that overlooks the scenic MKE downtown - perfect for cocktail hours or weddings in its own right! The whole St. James venue exudes classic cool vibes from every inch of its beautifully restored and updated space. It is the perfect fit for stress-free wedding days full of love and elegance!

Devin and Rachel got ready only a room apart from each other and then met up for their emotional first look. From that point on, they traversed their wedding day together as promises were made, lots of photos taken, countless hugs and well wishes were made, and all the feasting and dancing you might expect!

One of my favorite parts was sneaking off with the couple during the reception to capture some nighttime photos in front of the abbey and with the city as background. Getting to spend so much time with couples on the best day of their lives is fantastic and uplifting - I highly recommend it!

Rachel and Devin are super cool and fabulous humans - I wish them all the love and happiness in their lives together!
