Remember Chelsea & Alex? Their unforgettable Lord of the Rings–inspired wedding (yes, the one where the entire 24-person wedding party carried swords and pointed them at me!) was pure magic. Fast forward a few years, and I got to reconnect with them—this time for a family session at South Shore Park in Bay View.
I love when being a Milwaukee wedding and family photographer means that my ticket to the story doesn’t end at ‘I do.’ I often get to photograph couples as their story continues—celebrating growing families, anniversaries, or new milestones. Watching their love expand over time is very special.
🌿South Shore Park🌿
I met up with Chelsea and Alex for their family maternity session at South Shore Park in Bay View. South Shore Park once held one of Milwaukee’s best-kept secret beaches. Recently (very recently - the concrete is hardly dry), the shoreline has changed with an expanded sidewalk and public access—beautiful, but no longer hidden. As much as I love the changes, I’ll now be on the lookout for the next hidden gem.
We found a perfect spot a little up the trail with a view of the Milwaukee Skyline and some fabulous sunrays finding their way through the trees. Their little person is beautiful and fun, and we had a great time making special moments together to capture the tangible family love and cool expressions.
Chelsea & Alex’s South Shore Park family session was full of love, laughter, and Milwaukee charm. With golden light, playful moments, and the city skyline in the background, this Bay View favorite made the perfect spot to capture a snapshot of their story!
