Crystal + Danny's Milwaukee War Memorial Wedding and Anodyne Reception!

Tragically, I never got around to sharing Crystal + Danny’s 2018 War Memorial wedding on the blog before today. I LOVED their wedding and was shocked to discover I never posted it. As you can see - it was a fabulous whirlwind tour of so many of the best spots in Milwaukee (even a stop at ViewMKE for brunch - a restaurant that is sadly no longer with us).

Crystal and Danny wanted their wedding to be relaxed, industrial, and minimalist. They achieved their vision by choosing the War Memorial, with all its clean lines for the Ceremony, and Anodyne, a great example of cream city brick in a converted industrial warehouse - for their reception. We also traversed the city stopping at ViewMKE, Kilbourn Park, Bottle House 42, the Lake Front (by Harbour House), and all over the alleys of Walkers Point.

One of my favorite moments was watching Danny bustle Crystal’s dress for her - It was a quiet little moment in the back of Anodyne that really spoke to their genuine affection for each other and their partnership in life. If you are planning your wedding day - consider this - they built nearly 4 hours into their day to cruise around, take photos, grab brunch, beers, and chill - just so they could fully enjoy their wedding party and wedding day. This sort of schedule might not be for everyone - *but* - you get to plan your wedding day however you want… so don’t be afraid to slip some extra fun-time in just because you want to
