James + Kristen's Walker's Point Engagement Session.

I met James + Kristen in Walker's Point for their Engagement Session. Milwaukee is flush with cool alleys of Cream City Brick in its many variations.

We chose these particular streets and alleys because James and Kristen are getting married at Anodyne Coffee on Bruce and we wanted a chance to look over the neighborhood together. Even though Milwaukee has really given us a chilly spring - the session was amazing, and I loved getting to see how these two love-birds intereacted with each other - all smiles and joy and fun!
(PSA - Adondyne is a great choice for a wedding venue - Erica and the staff there are fabulous and eager to help couples make their weddings day dreams come true!)

After our session, we headed over to the Iron Horse hotel for drinks and to chat throught the details of their wedding timeline and photos (I include a little planning session of any couple that wants one!). Also, as it turns out that Kristen and I share an Alma Mater - and found out that we share some unexpected mutual friends and experiences!

They are lovely and I cannot wait the few short weeks until their late May wedding!

“Grateful for the fantastic Roost Photography and the incredible engagement photos he took!

Brandon helped us feel comfortable almost instantly as he led us through colorful alleys and encouraged us to kiss or twirl. I laughed a lot through the process and am so happy he'll be a part of our wedding day!”
