Hailey + Mitch's Engagement Session: Common Good Cocktails and St. James Forest Preservce

Hailey + Mitch are getting married this November and I can’t wait! They are a fantastic couple that is from Chicago, but getting married in Milwaukee!

For their engagement session, we hit up Common Good Cocktail House in Glen Ellyn for drinks before heading out to the St. James Forest Preserve to try to capture a little spring color and to have a place for Stout, their adorable puppy, to join us. Common Good Cocktail House is amazing—they were kind enough to let us in before they opened. (Also, their cocktails are outstanding, so I will be back soon!).

I included some BTS photos of their owners at work with their family present because small business life gives me all the feels.

After cocktails and a friendly competition between Gin + Bourbon, we headed out to St. James Forest Preserve and released the beast - well, Stout, their dog, anyway. Stout, Hailey, and Mitch had a great time frolicking on the trails, and we even found a stunning grove of spring blossoms perfectly in bloom!

It was a magical session - and we captured some amazing moments and windows into Hailey and Mitch’s relationship, I met a new Dog, and good times were had. Hurry up November!
