Deanna + Luke | Milwaukee Lakefront Engagement Session
Luke + Deanna are an amazingly fun couple! Their engagement session was full of laughter, joy, and so much energy — and the pictures turned out absolutely incredible.
We kicked things off along the Milwaukee lakefront at McKinley Beach, soaking up the most gorgeous sunset with the Milwaukee skyline as our backdrop. The bright sun gave everything this warm, golden glow that you just can't manufacture — it was pure magic. We ran along the beach, danced, twirled, and jumped, and honestly, it felt less like a photo shoot and more like just... living in the moment with two people wildly in love.
Of course, Luke could not resist a little mischief with a tree along the way, and those candid, in-between moments ended up being some of my absolute favorites from the whole session.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, we slipped over to the Veterans Park Lagoon for some quiet, intimate moments, where the noise of the city fades, and it's just the two of them. We were able to create some breathtaking post-sunset silhouettes that highlighted both the couple’s love and fun, as well as the incredible city of Milwaukee. We even found time to lie in the grass and just breathe it all in.
We wrapped up the evening at The Calling — the bold orange metal sculpture near the Art Museum — and it was the perfect punctuation mark on a perfect night. The city lights were glowing all around them, two people completely at home with each other.
It is such an amazing (and FUN!!!) privilege to have front row seats to the fantastic love stories of so many wonderful couples — from engagement sessions like this one all the way to the altar. Deanna + Luke, wishing you a lifetime of laughter, adventure, and joy together!
