Mary + Blake's Ivy House Wedding!

You know it’s going to be a magical day when you are headed to a wedding that involves both the Kinn Guest House and the Ivy House - two fabulous Milwaukee landmarks and venues. And true to form - Mary and Blake’s wedding was full of Magic.

First, I dropped in on Blake and his groomsmen at the Kinn, where they were getting ready and drinking whisky. The Kinn in Bayview is fabulous - a “boutique guesthouse… carefully curated space that feels more like a home…” It was the perfect spot for Blake’s men to gather in modern luxury and get in sync for the big day in front of them. Blake paired his getting ready with Roknar, a rye whiskey from Far North Spirits - and as you can see below, it was an uplifting experience.

Mary & Blake’s ****Engagement Session****

Only a few minutes away, Mary was in the Penthouse Suite, the fantastic bridal space at the Ivy House. Hey ladies sipped mimosas and listened to some of Mary’s favorite soothing tunes as they finished off their makup and hair and prepared for all the love and laughter that was to come.

The moment when Blake and Mary finally met up was full of joy and feeling - and from that point on they enjoyed their wedding day together. We had a blast capturing some photos with the wedding party and then I snuck away with the couple to capture some quiet moments before their ceremony.

The rest is history - Promises made in front of their family and friends, Cocktails in the courtyard, a sunset champaign toast, a feast with delicious food and meaningful words spoken, and then dancing the night away in celebration and joy.

Mary and Blake are just so cool and every minute of their day was perfect.
