Annie + Trevor's Audubon Hall Wedding Celebration at Independence Grove!

Annie & Trevor’s wedding day started with a very “exciting” trek through a massive midwestern spring snowstorm that dumped a ton of snow on Milwaukee just as we needed to be driving down to Chicago land for their wedding! And then suddenly, about 10 miles from Libertyville - the snow just disappeared like we had crossed a solid line. It made for an exciting start to a day that ended up being full of unexpected spring sunshine!

Annie’s day started at her parent’s home - which was filled with all sorts of adorable memorabilia from Annie’s childhood - surrounded by her bridesmaids and family. Meanwhile, across town - Trevor played games with his groomsmen until it was time to get ready. Then they all came together as Annie and Trevor saw each other down the Aisle at the Church before making their promises in front of their closest friends and family. From there we all headed to Independence Grove for pictures of the new couple and their wedding party. While it was as cold and windy as you would expect from an early spring day in Chicago - the sun was out in full force and made everything bright and lovely!

The reception venue - Audubon Hall sits at the highest point in the Independence Grove forest presernve overlooking the waterfront, the beautiful grounds, and many stone bridges. Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views while letting in all the golden light of the setting sun. It was the perfect spot for Annie and Trevor to mingle with their guests and celebrate their union.

One of my favorite parts of their wedding day was sneaking off with the couple in a golf cart to capture their golden out session and a private Champagne toast - but honestly, their whole day was amazing, full of delicious food, heartfelt speeches, and so many meaningful moments! We should do it all again!

Annie and Trevor are fantastic humans, and I wish them all the love and laughter in their future together!
